EGC and Messer Construction Co. gathered for the second annual bass fishing tournament for a day of friendly competition, community engagement and charitable giving. Thanks to the collective efforts of participants via donations and entry fees, a grand total of $3,900 was raised for cancer research at Cincinnati Children’s.
One of the highlights of the tournament is the opportunity for the winner to choose both the charitable cause and the location for the following year’s event. Jamie Brewsaugh, a two-time winner, chose to donate his winnings to Cincinnati Children’s, contributing to the grand total. The tournament took place at Rocky Fork Lake and 12 teams participated—an increase from the nine teams in 2022. Each boat held a Messer or EGC employee.
